A word from the Editor
Sorry about the lack of Newsletters this year but hopefully this one will make up for it!
Summer is here again and I know everyone is planning holidays either at home or abroad. I hope you all enjoy the summer and look forward to seeing you in September.
September 2008 Meeting - Let's Plan for the Future!!
I encourage everyone to attend the next meeting at Seminar Rooms A/B, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, on Saturday 6th September 2008 @ 1230 (Lunch at 1200). At this meeting you will be introduced to your new ia Committee and you will be able to discuss with them the plans for the future.
The future of the local group is extremely important and we would like the group to flourish and continue as it has done for the past years. This is YOUR group and YOU ALL have a part to play! Please come along and support us and give us your ideas for the future.

We are still needing a Chairperson, Treasurer, and magazine Distributor - if you know of any ia member who would be willing to take on any of these roles, please let me know. Also if there is a family relative/friend of an ia member with some banking/finance experience who would be willing to take on the Treasurer role, please let me know.
These roles are both interesting, rewarding and beneficial to the group. No experience necessary, just commitment to 2 meetings per year and helping out in between with Committee meetings etc.
Death of Grace Chalmers
It is with much sadness that I wish to inform the group of the death of one of our members, Grace Chalmers. Grace recently attended our March meeting and was keen to become an active part of the Committee, resulting in her agreeing to take on the role of Chairperson which was much appreciated by everyone. Sadly, Grace did not manage to fulfil this role, but I am sure she would have done an excellent job. Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time.
